This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Accountable for creating and executing a strategy to identify, engage, and cultivate new business relationships that will ensure long-term, sustainable revenue for Axis.
• The primary objective is to acquire new Enterprise accounts across the South Central region.
• Success will be assessed by the expansion of key stakeholders, the creation of new opportunities and objectives, and the generation of revenue from new accounts.
• Develop new opportunities from the ground up, including prospecting, conducting initial meetings, and managing relationships until revenue is achieved.
• Formulate clear and targeted strategies with account objectives for each of Axis’ key target segments, aligned with our go-to-market strategy.
• Implement plans in alignment with team strategic objectives, KPIs, and program goals.
• Cultivate, sustain, and enhance customer and partner relationships to bolster sales, generate opportunities, and provide insights that enhance the value of our offerings.
• Identify customer and prospect needs while building an ecosystem around them by utilizing appropriate internal resources.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to gather, compile, and prioritize market feedback for product development based on customer requirements.
• Deliver timely and relevant education and messaging to the industry through association engagement, tradeshow participation, thought leadership, and public speaking.
• Act as an internal resource and subject matter expert by supporting sales and marketing initiatives, demonstrations, and localized strategic plans and goals for target accounts.
• Discover new markets and innovative solutions to create additional sales opportunities.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not mandatory.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or project management, ideally within the video and physical security sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of the physical security market; preferred understanding of products and emerging trends in VMS, server, software, and hardware solutions.
• Proficient in Salesforce and/or other CRM tools.
• Strong project management skills with a consistent approach to follow-up and execution.
• Proven track record of establishing strategic and trusted relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, as well as being a key member of cross-functional teams.
• Several years of experience in developing business and channels for Security and/or IT solutions and programs.
• Experience as a subject matter expert responsible for disseminating knowledge to the salesforce and channel regarding positioning and winning business.
• Strong connections within security and IT professional groups or associations.
• Technical proficiency.
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, presentation, training, and listening skills.
