
Regional Sales Manager – East/Northeast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Concentrate on expanding business and taking initiative with Grocers and distributors in the Northeast and Midwest regions.
• Proactively manage and enhance business through consistent merchant engagement, effective promotion, and strategic business planning, along with improvements in assortment and merchandising.
• Direct and oversee the broker network to achieve optimal performance in distribution growth, promotional success, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with the in-house insights team to develop engaging, data-driven sales presentations.
• Create collaborative business plans that include merchandising and shopper strategies aimed at increasing market share and category development.
• Utilize analytical tools for comprehensive account analysis and implement actions based on insights.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), preferably in the food sector, encompassing both direct and brokered sales.
• Demonstrated history of increasing distribution and dollar sales by 30% or more.
• Required experience selling to Grocer accounts in the Northeast and/or Midwest, with a preference for candidates familiar with Natural products.
• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
• At least 3 years of experience in broker management, showcasing examples of enhanced effectiveness.
• Strong skills in Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, or other comparable syndicated data.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
