This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet sales goals in the designated region.
• Discover and pursue new business prospects within the region.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers, distributors, and various stakeholders.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations effectively.
• Offer product-use training and support to customers.
• Keep track of market trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Participate in trade shows and industry-related events.
• Collaborate with channel sellers to identify and secure high-value end-user sales opportunities.
• Capture potential prospects through distributor sellers and representative firms.
• Maintain the Salesforce.com pipeline for DPP opportunities.
• Provide expertise and training on the DPP portfolio.
• Keep key account information updated in account plans, opportunity pipelines, and call reports.
• Develop value propositions and perform competitive analysis in collaboration with marketing.
• Respond to critical sales events, actively manage the opportunity pipeline, address account threats, and coach sellers on closing deals.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, science, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% overnight within the assigned region.
• Preferred 3+ years of sales experience in the safety sector.
• Strong consultative selling skills, influence management, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Solid understanding of product offerings and customer applications.
• Ability to tailor custom product and service offerings to meet end-user requirements.
• Familiarity with internal business processes and customer needs.
