This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Formulate and execute regional sales strategies to meet or surpass revenue goals
• Manage relationships with designated key accounts, including Ferguson, to ensure optimal results
• Discover and secure new business opportunities with Ferguson, independent showrooms, and builders
• Propel specification and project-based sales within commercial and residential sectors
• Oversee and enhance downstream relationships with essential lighting showrooms and distribution partners
• Collaborate closely with Ferguson OPCO Sales Managers
• Work with builders and developers to obtain product specifications for new construction projects
• Negotiate pricing, programs, and contracts to boost profitability
• Lead, mentor, and support independent lighting sales agencies in the region
• Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and territory plans that align with company objectives
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the lighting, electrical, or building products sector
• Extensive experience in driving sales growth through representative agency partners
• Proven track record of managing territories and meeting revenue objectives
• Experience collaborating with Ferguson, lighting showrooms, sales agencies, and specification-focused sales
• Established connections within the builder, contractor, or designer community are preferred
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
