This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achievement of regional sales goals for MRD, including revenue and expenses.
• Creation and implementation of regional and territory business plans.
• Direct execution of sales strategies and tactics, along with the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.
• Establish and nurture key customer relationships with target demographics; assist in crafting mutually beneficial business solutions.
• Organize and lead regional sales meetings aimed at sharing existing and new product knowledge, applications, and enhancing sales and business skills.
• Assess the performance of MRD Clinical Account Executives.
• Maintain a comprehensive level of product and market knowledge.
• Identify contracting opportunities with academic medical institutions, large cancer centers, health systems, and other strategically significant key accounts.
• Oversee the management of Tempus’s CRM solution for the designated geographic area.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to access resources and optimize outcomes.
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant industry or commercial setting (pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, research products) as a sales manager, leading a team of over 8 representatives.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is preferred.
• Extensive domain knowledge of the Diagnostic Services industry.
• Strong preference for MRD and Molecular Diagnostic experience.
• Experience in selling Oncology-based tests and services to the Oncology and Surgery clinical communities is preferred.
• Comfortable engaging with executive-level clients (CEO, COO, CFO).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective and regular use of Salesforce.com.
• Ability to cultivate and leverage cross-functional relationships to achieve work objectives.
• Capability to present an integrated MolDx/SaaS solution using Tempus’s sequencing technology to prospects and clients.
• Strong understanding of the payor and reimbursement landscape in the oncology and diagnostic sectors.
