This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Execute the annual operating plan for sales, profitability, and trade management for designated West Regional Retail & Wholesaler accounts.
• Proactively track and revise the customer's comprehensive business plan, which encompasses managing trade budgets, expenditures, and volumes to meet all sales targets relative to the plan using the e4 tool.
• Generate concepts in collaboration with the Broker partner and utilize resources from Sales Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, and brand teams to implement C-store solutions across all delivery methods.
• Oversee, communicate, and assess the performance of the third-party broker for C-Store operations.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate new customer relationships to enhance volume.
• Perform post-event evaluations to assess promotional volume, consumption, and spending outcomes against the plan, and use insights to optimize future opportunities.
• Facilitate category business strategy meetings to review the business status, consumer trends, key business drivers, and incremental opportunities.
• Appropriately utilize team-dedicated Insight and Category Management resources.
• Comprehend Campbell's brand strategies and tactics for effective implementation, collaborating closely with key customer decision-makers and leveraging customer-specific data to provide solutions.
• Guide the customer in executing category assessments to secure additional space.
• Create precise monthly forecasts to enhance supply chain efficiency by monitoring shipments, consumption trends, and inventory fluctuations.
• Proactively highlight potential risks or challenges to monthly forecasts.
• Promote new items to customers and collaborate with key customer personnel to ensure optimal distribution.
• Participate in significant customer trade shows to showcase Campbell’s products, partnering with the broker.
• Required minimum education: Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of sales experience (with at least 2 years in C-Store preferred).
• Proficiency with e4 or a similar trade demand planning system.
• Familiarity with Syndicated Data (such as IRI or AC Nielsen, retailer loyalty cards, retailer POS) is advantageous.
• Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and experience with internal computer systems for data collection and analysis).
