
Regional Sales Manager – Capital Equipment, Aftermarket Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Develop sales opportunities for Cantell-Gainco’s range of capital equipment, service contracts, parts sales, rebuild services, customer training, and service labor.
• Maintain a regular presence at customer facilities and consistently provide a value-added experience through outcome-focused scheduling, planning, and preparation.
• Collaborate with internal pricing, marketing, and product teams to create persuasive tenders, tactical sales and marketing initiatives, and guide product and contracting strategies to align with customer requirements.
• Assist in generating revenue and business planning while continuously assessing processes and best practices with an employee-owner mindset.
• Work closely with clients to comprehend and proactively address their business needs and objectives.
• Communicate our value proposition effectively through proposals and presentations.
• Gather market intelligence and relay it back to the marketing team.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and develop sales strategies to adapt to ongoing changes in the market.
• Proactively address internal and external business challenges, ensuring the organization meets its sales targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A strong background in regional sales experience (B2B) is essential.
• Experience in the poultry processing industry is preferred.
• Proven experience in selling within a highly technical, production-focused environment.
• Familiarity with CRM software suites such as Dynamics or Salesforce is required.
• Strong analytical skills are necessary.
• Highly motivated with a history of surpassing sales targets.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate the sales process with consistent appointment scheduling.
• Proven capability to convey the value proposition of specific product and service features.
• Proven ability to position products against competitors effectively.
• Experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
