This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive initiatives to enhance company sales and distribution within the designated Northeast region.
• Act as the client's trusted advisor and the primary contact for all Cantrell-Gainco offerings.
• Oversee a sales distribution of 70% new business acquisition and 30% account management.
• Secure clients and arrange meetings with key executives and plant personnel.
• Foster essential relationships at all levels of customer operations.
• Develop and sustain a comprehensive sales pipeline.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure satisfaction.
• Meet targets related to territory revenue, capital equipment bookings, aftermarket revenue growth, service agreement penetration, pipeline value, funnel health, customer acquisition, and forecast accuracy.
• Implement growth-oriented sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
• Identify opportunities for capital equipment, service agreements, parts sales, rebuilds, customer training, and service labor.
• Maintain a regular onsite presence at customer facilities.
• Collaborate with pricing, marketing, and product teams on tenders, sales campaigns, product strategies, and contracting approaches.
• Contribute to revenue and business planning while monitoring processes and best practices.
• Partner with clients to comprehend and proactively address their business needs and goals.
• Convey the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
• Gather market intelligence and relay insights to marketing.
• Anticipate future sales trends and adjust sales strategies according to market dynamics.
• Actively resolve internal and external business challenges.
• Solid background in regional B2B sales.
• Experience in the poultry processing industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with selling in a highly technical production environment.
• Proficient in using CRM software platforms such as Dynamics or Salesforce.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Highly driven with a proven history of surpassing sales targets.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite.
• Established ability to initiate the sales process with consistent appointment scheduling.
• Proven skill in articulating the value proposition of unique product and service aspects.
• Demonstrated ability to position products effectively against competitors.
• Experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and feasible solutions.
• Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Frequent customer-facing travel is required, typically 3-4 days per week within the assigned territory.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
