This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Acts as a representative of the Company and its interests.
• Engages with both new and existing customers.
• Attains monthly, quarterly, and annual sales booking targets.
• Meets specified sales margin goals.
• Identifies and generates new sales opportunities to enhance the sales pipeline.
• Collaborates with marketing on events and campaigns to strengthen the sales funnel.
• Assists customers in maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
• Works closely with our technical team to deliver exceptional product and solution demonstrations.
• Follows the ZEISS sales process to recommend the most suitable solutions for customer needs.
• Identifies and shares leads with other sales channels.
• Develops sales materials and other relevant resources for sales events, marketing initiatives, or to support the sales process.
• In the case of indirect sales, provides support, training, and guidance to distributors to achieve sales booking goals.
• Supplies sales booking forecasts.
• Qualifies sales leads and opportunities effectively.
• Regularly updates the CRM system to accurately reflect all sales activities, relationships, and the status of sales leads and opportunities.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Takes ownership of customer success.
• Supports sales and marketing events.
• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) is required.
• A technical background is essential.
• Experience in Sales or Sales Support, with knowledge of capital equipment, manufacturing, and engineering processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
