• Achieves strategic sales objectives for the brand.
• Develops tailored business models for each client.
• Chooses the product assortment for each account.
• Plans model inventories, turnover, gross margin, markdowns, and accountable sales targets by account.
• Oversees retailer sales, inventory, and profitability to optimize both parties' operations.
• Manages the order base for accounts to ensure timely deliveries.
• Administers replenishment programs for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Accounts.
• Predicts product needs and aggregates data by account.
• Implements all retail marketing initiatives, including: retail visibility, Point of Purchase (P.O.P.), promotional activities, and collateral materials.
• Cultivates strong relationships with key accounts at a senior level.
• Identifies, develops, and secures new key accounts in line with the division's distribution strategies.
• Maintains a regular schedule of in-store visits to ensure effective brand representation, visual rollouts/events, and to enhance turnover and foot traffic.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of sales experience, including 3 years in Key Account Management, demonstrating strong sales capabilities; experience in footwear is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of servicing all sales elements of a national footwear brand in department stores.
• Must exhibit strategic planning abilities and be results-driven.
• Familiarity with retailer financial metrics – sales, inventory, turnover, and gross margin dollars.
• High energy level, initiative, and professionalism are essential.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
