This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee a team of 15 to 20 Area Sales Managers (ASMs) in the North East Region of the United States.
• Increase the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers.
• Identify, onboard, manage, and develop ASMs.
• Implement the Sales process with a consultative sales and management approach.
• Train dealers on how the program can contribute to their business growth.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of ASMs.
• Facilitate the effective application of Western Funding’s Five Step Sales Process.
• Establish clear expectations for ASMs and guide them to enhance performance.
• Review and analyze key metrics alongside ASMs.
• Conduct field visits while mentoring ASMs.
• Address escalated calls from dealers.
• Manage monthly team volume objectives with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proven experience with exceptional results in Automotive, Finance, and Sales, particularly in retail automobile dealerships.
• Prior experience in a training and development capacity.
• Previous leadership experience managing a high-performing team is preferred.
• 5-7 years of prior experience in a sales position with a demonstrated track record of success is preferred.
• Experience with Dealer Participation/Reserve is preferred.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cold calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong presentation skills, from initial creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills.
• Ability to persuade and influence others effectively.
• Orientation towards the significance of processes and their proper execution.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion techniques.
