This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Utilize expertise in the distributed energy resources sector to implement ambitious sales strategies, ensuring the team surpasses its target for qualified booked meetings.

• Responsible for the growth and development of a team of Sales Directors.

• Establish, cultivate, and maintain productive relationships with large commercial, institutional, and industrial clients.

• Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives while generating revenue for clients and supporting the energy transition initiative.

• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Directors to help them achieve their objectives.

• Discover innovative methods to motivate the team and enhance performance.

• Take ownership of the market and territory by identifying opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Collaborate across different functions to facilitate impactful customer interactions.

• Ensure timely reporting and management of sales activities through internal CRM systems.

• Formulate and promote best practices throughout the organization.

• Leverage data to monitor progress towards goals and pinpoint areas for team development and improvement.

• Continuously strive to enhance the company.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent.

• At least 1 year of experience in account-relationship management or business development within the energy sector.

• Minimum of 1 year in developing regulatory strategies, marketing communications, and customer relationships.

• At least 1 year of experience leading sales initiatives and customer engagements, ensuring project delivery meets client satisfaction.

• A minimum of 1 year working with SalesForce, GoogleSuite, or comparable CRM systems.

• Proven ability to collaborate with executive teams, product management, marketing, and customer success teams to drive use cases, solutions, and align product-market fit for strategic goals and value propositions.

• Demonstrated success in managing a sales cycle and achieving sales targets.

• Remote work is allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

• A requirement of 50% domestic travel to meet with current and potential customers, primarily in California.
