This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the generation of new sales leads and maintain relationships with existing customers utilizing the Terex Proven Sales Process.
• Conduct ongoing research of the local market and business activities to identify potential opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the East Region sales team to effectively achieve regional objectives.
• Control discount levels while striving to enhance company profit margins.
• Oversee sales forecasts and ensure the acquisition of sales orders in alignment with established goals.
• Manage expense control in accordance with the agreed-upon budget.
• Provide education to the sales team on products, services, warranties, and technical support.
• Ensure the sales team has access to parts personnel, field service, and other relevant team members as needed.
• Demonstrate the proper techniques of the Terex Proven Sales Process, including prospecting, researching, presenting, and writing quotations and specifications.
• Communicate and educate the sales team on the features and benefits of the equipment.
• Gather feedback regarding existing products and services, as well as any changes, enhancements, and new products.
• Accurately document problems, issues, or deviations from standard procedures.
• Support trade shows and customer demonstrations as appropriate.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 8 years of experience in commercial sales is necessary.
• 8 years of experience in new business development, product marketing, and sales is essential.
• 8 years of experience in initiating sales contacts and finalizing sales contracts is required.
• Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time.
• Exceptional human relations skills are needed.
• Strong time and regional management practices are essential.
• Proficient in building strong business relationships.
• Basic understanding of equipment purchase financing is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, and Excel.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint is preferred.
• Ability to manage a team of 7 to 10 individuals is necessary.
