This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +3 more states.
• Achievement of regional sales targets; managing revenue and expenses
• Creation and implementation of regional and territory-specific business plans
• Directly executing sales strategies and tactics, along with implementing sales and marketing initiatives
• Cultivating and sustaining key customer relationships with specific target audiences
• Organizing and leading regional sales meetings
• Assessing the performance of Clinical Account Executives
• Oversight management of Tempus’s CRM solution within the designated geographic area
• Collaboratively working with cross-functional partners to leverage resources and enhance outcomes
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant industry/commercial setting (pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, research products) as a sales manager, overseeing a team of 8 or more representatives
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of the Diagnostic Services sector
• Strong preference for experience in Molecular Diagnostics
• Preference for experience in selling Oncology-based tests and services to the Pathology and/or Oncology clinical communities
• Required experience in complex sales environments
• Proven track record in recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining talent
• Capability to prioritize and align with organizational objectives and goals; fostering innovation
• Proficient in engaging in a consultative selling approach that effectively addresses objections
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be skilled in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
