This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a vibrant portfolio of communities while mentoring community team members to achieve exceptional sales proficiency and execution.
• Propel the accomplishment of targeted occupancy and revenue goals.
• Offer strategic and tactical support, guidance, and direction to the assigned portfolio through the implementation of impactful programming, training, and coaching.
• Travel to communities within the portfolio to foster strong relationships with team members and mentor them towards sales excellence.
• Systematically and proactively assess and continuously evaluate the execution of strategies and results.
• Develop robust sales success plans to drive results.
• Act as a hands-on sales coach for teams, providing observation and support.
• Ensure that fundamental sales practices are effectively executed.
• Guide community team members on enhancing their sales performance, focusing on developing strengths, achieving goals, and building trust with prospects.
• Inspire and empower the portfolio sales teams positively, encouraging collaboration in marketing their communities for success.
• Direct community teams to meet monthly and annual sales objectives.
• Analyze and monitor sales statistics to identify trends, assess sales team activities and performance, and utilize secret shops to improve outcomes.
• Leverage CRM reports and other relevant data to identify strengths and areas for improvement within the community teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of weekly/monthly sales reports.
• Support the Sparrow sales force in becoming the industry leader.
• Engage in the recruitment and hiring processes for your portfolio’s sales team, emphasizing the attraction and retention of top talent to optimize sales performance.
• Contribute to the design of new and enhancement of existing sales training and development programs for community team members.
• Observe individual and team performance and assess training requirements.
• Build strong relationships with operations and marketing partners.
• Collaborate with these leaders to develop sales and marketing strategies and assist in executing these plans.
• Partner with them to address community and team challenges, achieve occupancy goals, and train sales personnel.
• Organize all logistics and onboarding activities for new and existing sales specialists, clarifying the Sparrow Active Adult sales standards.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings as necessary to influence individual and group dynamics.
• Regularly meet with each assigned community sales team to review: Current gap to goal (leasing/occupancy goals), 30-day prospect event calendar, 30-day outreach marketing calendar, prospect follow-up strategy, and mystery shop results.
• Facilitate 1:1 role-playing activities and assist in customizing tour paths by community to enhance the prospect experience.
• Meet with leadership and capital partners to discuss team sales performance and plans for improvement as needed.
• Engage teams in monthly sales contests and bonus programs.
• Implement new initiatives regionally.
• High school diploma and at least 5+ years of professional sales experience in multifamily housing, Active Adult, senior living, or hospitality.
• Proficient facilitator with a strong executive presence.
• Creative and interactive approach to adult learning.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Experience with lease-up properties and luxury amenities is preferred.
• Background in Operations is a plus.
• Strong track record of leading and developing teams at a regional level is preferred.
• Proven success in sales training and guiding teams toward excelling in sales performance is required.
• Extensive experience with CRM systems (preferably Yardi CRMiQ).
• Familiarity with property management systems (preferably Yardi).
• Experience in market outreach (networking, events, social media, etc.).
• Comfortable using Canva, PowerPoint, and Teams.
