This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
• Develop and sustain a high-performing sales environment by effectively managing, training, and motivating a team of territory sales managers.
• Design, implement, and report on a tactical regional business plan aimed at achieving designated revenue goals.
• Facilitate and oversee the performance management of local territory plans to meet regional business objectives.
• Establish, track, and manage the performance of direct reports on key territory KPIs, including customer engagement, end-user pipeline velocity & conversion, and overall sales target fulfillment across assigned regions.
• Foster and sustain productive relationships with leadership at key end users and distributor partners.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of SCJP, including specific product value propositions, market dynamics, competitive actions, and user requirements.
• Ensure the implementation and effective use of SCJ Professional Sales Methodology.
• Utilize SCJP support tools, reports, and the CRM system daily to optimize time management, communication, and strategic direction.
• Proactively manage expenses and financial investments related to personnel, brokers, and customer funding (pricing, promotions, dispensers, etc.).
• Serve as the Voice of the user and distributor to provide ongoing market insights and competitive response strategies to senior management.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to develop and execute customer-specific communications and promotions, product development, process enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain effective relationships and communication with all internal departments.
• Exemplify SC Johnson values, promoting a collaborative and respectful workplace.
• Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 7 years of sales or sales management experience in institutional, industrial, and commercial distribution channels.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in people leadership.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
• Experience in the Janitorial and Sanitation industry is preferred.
