This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish, develop, and oversee accounts within a designated territory.
• Achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Investigate, track, and monitor potential RFPs and bidding opportunities, aiming to connect with decision-makers prior to formal solicitations.
• Identify and assess potential clients through phone outreach, cold calls, networking, industry events, referrals, and other business development efforts.
• Create proposals, pricing strategies, and sales presentations tailored for prospective clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with municipal leaders, EMS chiefs, finance stakeholders, hospital administrators, and other decision-makers to enhance the chances of securing new business.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and leadership teams to review RFPs, support proposal strategies, and align solutions with client requirements.
• Aid in collecting competitive intelligence, monitoring competitor activities, and sharing insights with the sales team.
• Assist with public records research and maintain relevant business intelligence within CRM and shared internal systems.
• Evaluate awarded contracts, existing relationships, and market trends, providing findings to leadership.
• Adhere to deadlines and requirements for contracts, bids, proposals, and related sales activities within the assigned territory.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, association meetings, and customer events to promote the brand and generate leads.
• Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline activity, forecasting, and account records within CRM.
• Work in conjunction with internal teams to guarantee a smooth transition from sale to implementation and continued account growth.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• At least 3 years of proven outside professional sales experience with documented annual success in one of the following sectors: EMS or Fire, healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, municipal sales, or healthcare technology is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in developing new business and successfully closing complex sales opportunities that involve multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional customer relations and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from both small and large groups.
• Experience in scheduling appointments and meeting with high-ranking decision-makers.
• Capacity to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple pursuits simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective time management, territory management, and organizational abilities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze and interpret customer reports, bidding documents from municipalities or private services, governmental regulations, and industry materials.
• Experience with municipal procurement processes, including RFP and RFI solicitations, public-sector contracting, and competitive bidding environments.
• Competence in drafting reports, business correspondence, proposals, and other sales-related documentation.
• Ability to calculate and discuss pricing and revenue implications.
• Capacity to independently oversee all aspects of the job role, including goals and business practices, in a remote setting.
