• Take charge of all sales initiatives within the specified region of responsibility.
• Cultivate, enhance, and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
• Drive sales growth across the entire SAMSON range of products and services.
• Conduct face-to-face interactions with customers and organize lunch and learns.
• Address customer service inquiries and follow up on proposals.
• Organize Sales Meetings and Lunch & Learns as necessary.
• Offer technical assistance through documentation, drawings, customer training, site visits, and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with fellow regional sales managers, sales leadership, and other departments.
• More than 5 years of experience in sales within the Industrial or Process Automation sector.
• Preference for candidates with technical knowledge of Valves, Actuators, and other control components.
• Proven experience managing sales cycles ranging from 6 weeks to 2 years.
• Prior experience overseeing a defined region with direct accounts and sales channels.
• Experience using a CRM system to manage all customer interactions.
• A motivated self-starter with a drive to achieve ambitious goals and think creatively.
• Proficient in both oral and written English communication (French is a plus) with strong presentation capabilities.
• A strong focus on customer service with a well-developed skill set.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to handle conflicts, setbacks, and changes.
• Detail-oriented individual with analytical skills, listening abilities, and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and possess strong computer skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage occasional heavy workloads and multitask effectively.
