This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Formulate and implement a regional sales strategy aimed at achieving or surpassing revenue goals for Sabanto autonomy systems.
• Locate, recruit, onboard, and assist both new and existing elite dealers and customers within the territory.
• Establish robust relationships with dealer principals, sales teams, and end-user farmers to enhance product adoption.
• Execute product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions for dealers and clients.
• Collaborate with Sabanto’s sales leadership, marketing, and technical teams to refine market entry strategies.
• Observe competitor activities, market trends, and regional agricultural requirements to shape strategic direction.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying opportunities, negotiating agreements, closing deals, and ensuring successful post-sale implementation.
• Monitor and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics through CRM tools.
• Represent Sabanto at industry trade shows, dealer events, and agricultural exhibitions.
• Provide field feedback to influence product development and enhancements.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in agricultural equipment, precision ag technology, industrial, SaaS, or related B2B sales (dealer channel experience is highly preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of row-crop farming, tractor/implement operations, and the advantages of autonomy/labor-saving technologies.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and fostering relationships with dealers and customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Self-driven with outstanding territory management and organizational skills.
• Technical proficiency to comprehend and communicate complex autonomy, GNSS, sensor, and software features.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (50-75%) and occasionally on a national level.
