This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement the sales strategy for the Western U.S., integrating indirect business and channel initiatives.
• Ensure precise CRM and new customer acquisition strategies while collaborating with commercial teams such as Business Development and engineering to stimulate new revenue growth.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact to repeat sales through diligent follow-ups, and create new projects to guarantee ongoing growth in alignment with regional objectives.
• Cultivate and oversee distributor partnerships by recruiting, training, and providing support to their sales teams.
• Create collaborative sales plans, establish goals, and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Mentor partners to achieve autonomy, perform funnel reviews, and offer continuous training so their teams can effectively sell and support our solutions.
• Enhance Robotiq’s visibility and emphasis within each partner organization.
• Oversee key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, upselling, and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Identify decision-makers within accounts who possess specific authority regarding our products at regional or global levels.
• Build robust relationships with decision-makers and influencers within these accounts.
• Prospect, present, and finalize turnkey palletizing projects from initial scoping and proposal to delivery and on-site integration.
• Travel frequently to customer locations (manufacturing facilities) and channel partners to deliver presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
• Collect competitive intelligence and customer insights to inform market strategy and product development.
• Utilize CRM diligently to manage the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or electrical) or a related field is an asset.
• Extensive experience in technical solution sales, particularly in automation, robotics, or industrial equipment.
• Proven experience in both direct sales and channel management.
• A successful history of surpassing targets, including achievements in both new account acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
• Highly driven self-starter (possessing an entrepreneurial mindset) with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
• Strong technical and business insight; capable of presenting and selling value to both engineers and senior executives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, CRM Software, ERP Software, and Automation and Robotics technology - for example, UR Caps, Polyscope, etc.
• Full professional proficiency in English and an ability to tailor communication to the target audience.
