This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Expand the business through direct sales and distributor partnerships by providing training, strategic planning, plan execution, and follow-ups.
• Enhance sales and penetrate both new and existing accounts by leveraging contacts, relationships, and the company’s product offerings and capabilities.
• Foster deep-rooted relationships at all levels within the organization.
• Identify effective strategies to penetrate both new and existing accounts while maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of and actively engage in the company’s sales strategy.
• Accountable for the successful implementation of the plan within the designated territory.
• Exhibit a thorough familiarity with the region’s business metrics as a management tool for the territory.
• Fully comprehend the terms and conditions associated with every sale.
• Aid in the development and execution of an ongoing educational and training program to ensure that customers and distributors possess strong product knowledge.
• Responsible for training distributor sales personnel and packaging and equipment specialists in alignment with company policies, goals, and coursework.
• Proactively initiate and take part in drafting accurate order specifications and submit them promptly to guarantee on-time project delivery that meets or surpasses customer expectations.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of the internal document flow related to each sale and educate customers and distributors on the significance of returning all requested documents to maintain project timelines.
• Engage positively and proactively with various support teams within nVenia to ensure optimal customer responses during issue resolution.
• Extensive travel is required to cover the assigned geographic region.
• At least 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales.
• Demonstrated history of sales growth year over year.
• Completion of formal sales training programs (e.g., consultative selling techniques).
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
• Preferred knowledge of packaging equipment.
• Proficient in the use of PCs, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
