This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develops and upholds a professional image while representing Novomatic Americas Sales during personal interactions and communications via phone and/or email.
• Regularly travels within the designated territory to engage with established and potential customers to foster relationships, generate business, and address customer concerns.
• Compiles and keeps updated lists of accounts/call sheets for all customers using personal connections, trade publications, business directories, and other available resources.
• Provides management with regular updates on product forecast reports for approval, and promptly identifies significant sales opportunities to management.
• Keeps management informed about competitive market trends and any issues that could hinder business operations.
• Represents the company at trade association meetings to advocate for the product.
• Maintains a solid understanding of the product line and its applications within the market.
• Identifies customer needs through sales interactions or by analyzing slot floor data.
• Displays or demonstrates products that may meet customer requirements using sample products, marketing materials, or trial equipment to highlight the product's sales features.
• Quotes prices that are approved by corporate.
• Gathers credit history information as necessary and provides customers with quotes in accordance with company-approved credit terms.
• Prepares sales contracts and sales order entry documentation accurately and promptly for secured orders.
• Provides customers with estimated delivery dates based on lead times given by the Sales Order Entry Department.
• Keeps customers informed about any issues affecting the delivery of their orders.
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting of expense accounts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Three or more years of relevant sales experience and/or training.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and sales proposals.
• Capable of effectively presenting information and answering questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to establish and meet deadlines.
• A team player with strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
