This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Lead the implementation and execution of the regional sales strategy to meet sales, revenue, and profitability objectives.
• Manage, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing sales team, promoting accountability, engagement, and professional advancement.
• Efficiently activate and execute large-scale, intricate contracts within Distribution and Non-Commercial segments.
• Collaborate across departments with Sales Planning, Business Partnering, Marketing, Customer Service, and other internal teams to synchronize priorities and deliver cohesive customer plans.
• Supervise regional forecasting, sales activity metrics, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
• Establish and nurture robust, strategic relationships with distributors, commercial and non-commercial operators, and channel partners.
• Recognize growth opportunities, evaluate risks, and modify plans to ensure consistent results.
• Ensure effective planning and allocation of trade spending to optimize return on investment, while analyzing, assessing, and managing pricing strategies.
• Act as a people manager responsible for the overall development, direction, coordination, and assessment of the regional sales team, including hiring, training, performance management, coaching, and employee relations.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Over 8 years of relevant sales and leadership experience and/or training.
• A strategic mindset paired with strong execution capabilities and operational discipline.
• A solid financial background with experience in managing sales performance and profit and loss (P&L) statements.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to influence attitudes and actions across functional areas to achieve organizational goals.
• Ability to lead a geographically diverse team and manage competing priorities and unforeseen demands.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational abilities.
• Strong group presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50–60%); occasional weekend travel may be necessary.
