This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee a team of 15 to 20 Area Sales Managers (ASMs) in the North East Region of the United States.
• Recruit, train, and guide a team of ASMs following Company policies.
• Facilitate the effective implementation of Western Funding’s Five Step Sales Process.
• Establish clear expectations for ASMs and utilize coaching techniques to enhance their performance.
• Regularly review and discuss essential metrics with ASMs and the team.
• Strive to continually enhance your team's core selling abilities and program knowledge.
• Conduct quarterly performance evaluations aimed at driving results and achieving individual goals.
• Engage in field visits while mentoring ASMs on Company best practices.
• Address escalated calls from dealers.
• Identify and execute strategies to enhance performance within your control, while communicating about areas where you lack full control.
• Manage monthly team volume targets with a focus on ongoing improvement.
• Proven experience with exceptional results in Automotive, Finance, and Sales, including retail automobile dealerships.
• Previous experience in a training and development capacity.
• Prior leadership experience managing a high-performing team (PREFERRED).
• 5-7 years of experience in a sales position with a demonstrated history of success (PREFERRED).
• Experience with Dealer Participation/Reserve (PREFERRED).
• Bachelor’s Degree (PREFERRED).
• Strong understanding of cold calling, appointment setting, and sales methodologies.
• Effective presentation skills, from initial creation to final delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and clear communication abilities.
• Capacity to persuade and influence others effectively.
• Focused on the importance of process and proper execution of procedures.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
