This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee a team of 15 to 20 Area Sales Managers (ASMs) in the North East Region of the United States.
• Identify, recruit, manage, and develop ASMs to effectively implement the Sales process.
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of ASMs in alignment with Company policies.
• Facilitate the effective execution of Western Funding’s Five Step Sales Process.
• Establish clear expectations for ASMs and employ coaching techniques to enhance their performance.
• Regularly review and discuss key metrics with ASMs and the team.
• Continuously work on enhancing the team’s core selling skills and knowledge of programs.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews aimed at driving results and achieving individual goals.
• Perform field visits while coaching ASMs on best practices as per Company standards.
• Address escalated calls from dealers.
• Identify and execute strategies to enhance performance that are within our control.
• Proven experience with exceptional results in Automotive, Finance, and Sales, including retail automobile dealerships.
• Previous experience in a training and development capacity.
• Leadership experience managing a high-performing team is preferred.
• 5-7 years of prior experience in a sales role with a demonstrated record of success is preferred.
• Experience with Dealer Participation/Reserve is preferred.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cold calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Effective presentation skills, from creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to persuade and influence others effectively.
• Strong orientation towards process importance and proper execution.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
