• Oversee the sales region by developing and executing strategies that promote growth.
• Key performance indicators include year-over-year new funnel creation, funnel expansion, order and sales increases, and gains in market share.
• Collaborate with all customer-facing field personnel to implement Team Selling initiatives.
• Create a targeted action plan for the growth of Key Accounts.
• Recruit, train, and mentor sales teams using Value Selling methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to all Standard Work in funnel and forecast management, conducting weekly reviews of sales funnels.
• A B.S. in Biology is preferred; an MBA is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management within Life Science capital equipment sales, particularly focused on Life Science Research at prominent academic institutions.
• At least 7 years’ experience as a sales representative in the Life Science capital equipment sector is desired.
• Proven ability to provide examples of successful planning and execution for growth.
• Capable of building a highly effective and diverse team that collaborates in Team Selling.
• A hands-on sales leader who prioritizes time in the field with both team members and customers (going to GEMBA).
• Proficient in concentrating on the Best Few actions to drive growth.
• Excellent communication skills.
