📋 Description

• Propel revenue growth year-over-year and enhance wallet share within designated territories and product lines by fostering robust relationships with architects, contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers in the commercial construction sector.

• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-achieving sales team comprised of direct sales personnel and independent manufacturer representatives.

• Set clear expectations, enforce accountability, cultivate talent, and foster a collaborative, performance-oriented culture committed to collective success.

• Collaborate across functions with Customer Service, Technical Services, Operations, Marketing, and senior leadership to provide outstanding customer experiences and implement strategic growth initiatives throughout the region.

• Utilize expertise in the commercial construction industry to impact projects from design through installation, offering technical support on Balco’s engineered architectural products, such as expansion joint systems, stair nosing, entrance mats & grids, and photoluminescent egress systems.

• Create and execute competitive sales strategies aimed at boosting specification rates, market share, and profitable growth through targeted interactions with architects, contractors, and distributors.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, competitive offerings, pricing strategies, and regional construction trends to ensure Balco's long-term success.

• Monitor and evaluate sales performance, pipeline activities, forecasting, and competitive insights using CRM tools, while providing regular business updates and strategic recommendations.

• Conduct compelling presentations, lead complex negotiations, and represent Balco at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

• Travel across the region to assist customers, develop teams, strengthen partnerships, and drive business growth, with travel expectations at approximately 30%.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

• Extensive technical knowledge and a proven record of success in selling architectural building products to architects, contractors, and distributors, with the ability to interpret project drawings, conditions, and specifications to recommend optimal solutions.

• Practical experience with expansion joint systems, stair nosing, photoluminescent egress, or similar specialty products is highly preferred.

• A demonstrated history of developing and leading sales teams to consistently achieve or surpass ambitious growth targets in competitive markets.

• Strong executive presence accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Relationship-oriented with the ability to influence various stakeholders and decision-makers.

• A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong customer-centric approach.

• Proficient negotiator comfortable managing complex, multi-party sales situations.

• Confident presenter adept at delivering impactful sales and technical presentations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/order management systems, including Salesforce.

• A valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR and proof of insurance required).
