This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Drive annual growth in orders and sales revenue within the designated region.
• Develop and implement sales strategies by identifying key decision-makers and aligning value propositions to customer applications.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product lines and their applications, including valves, valve components, testing equipment, training, and services.
• Build and nurture strong relationships across site-level departments and corporate offices.
• Identify and oversee sales opportunities utilizing Salesforce.com; ensure CRM data is up-to-date and accurate.
• Conduct regular site visits—at least five per month—and guarantee quarterly coverage of all locations within the territory.
• Organize and lead product demonstrations and Lunch & Learn sessions to educate end users.
• Support new product development and integration initiatives in partnership with vertical leaders.
• Monitor competitive activities and market trends; provide insights to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing to pinpoint promotional opportunities such as trade shows and industry events.
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions; resolve issues by coordinating with internal departments.
• Advocate for the use of Crane Business System (CBS) and Sales Excellence tools to foster continuous improvement.
• Participate in strategic planning and monthly strategy deployment meetings; update related metrics.
• Offer feedback to Business Line Managers and VPGMs regarding adjacent market opportunities.
• Understand and support inside sales processes and expectations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt service and effective issue resolution.
• Stay updated on global industry developments and competitive intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in management or a technical discipline preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in technical field sales; experience in the nuclear industry is advantageous.
• At least three years of management experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the capability to build relationships and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate products and articulate value propositions to secure competitive orders.
• Excellent listening skills with the capacity to translate customer needs into effective solutions.
• High-energy, self-motivated individual with a competitive mindset and a servant leadership approach.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills; disciplined in adhering to a travel schedule.
• Ability to manage complex situations calmly and provide thoughtful, data-driven recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Quick learner with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to customer inquiries and concerns.
