• **Job Summary:**
• The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) serves as the representative of the business, overseeing relationships, managing expectations, and identifying new business opportunities with current clients, while also generating leads for Cam Tran in line with the company's strategic growth initiatives. The RSM is accountable for analyzing forecast versus actual release patterns and engaging in discussions regarding these metrics. This role involves providing timely market insights and keeping a watchful eye on potential threats and opportunities that could impact the company's performance, including competitive insights and technological advancements.
• **Position Tasks:**
• ***Strategic Territory Management***
• - Champions and actively pursues strategic business development initiatives.
• - Focuses approximately 80% on account development and retention, and 20% on acquiring new business.
• - Places significant emphasis on account management, prioritizing customer retention, relationship enhancement, and recognizing opportunities for expansion.
• - Exhibits strong negotiation capabilities and the skill to devise and implement sales strategies that optimize customer value and business results.
• - Identifies and acts on upselling opportunities within existing accounts while cultivating new business to meet territory growth goals.
• ***Relationship Management***
• - Ensures regular contact with customers according to a structured sales calendar with specific objectives for each interaction.
• - Utilizes the agent network to facilitate sales growth and broaden market reach within the designated territory.
• - Establishes trust with key contacts at accounts by fulfilling their needs in accordance with contractual obligations.
• - Engages key personnel from Cam Tran as needed to enhance and strengthen relationships within the account portfolio, including technical and business staff.
• - Communicates any pertinent information that could impact the account in a timely and professional manner.
• ***Territory***
• - Canada East - Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Provinces
• ***Account Management***
• - Owns key metrics and communicates them promptly and specifically to relevant individuals in the account (such as quality performance, purchasing patterns, actual versus planned forecasts, etc.).
• - Manages account expectations of Cam Tran concerning the contract and ensures that any necessary changes are communicated to the sales management team.
• - Acts as the company liaison to address customer issues as they arise. Establishes the account profile, including economic buyers, influencers, and technical buyers.
• - Develops forecasts and strategies for the account and shares them with the sales management team.
• - Collects information on emerging trend opportunities within the accounts.
• ***Opportunity Management***
• - Identifies leads for new strategic growth initiatives as directed by the company.
• - Manages leads through the sales funnel in a timely manner to achieve new business growth targets.
• - Proactively seeks out new markets and fosters innovation internally.
• ***Market Intelligence***
• - Creates a network of industry experts, clients, and influencers to remain informed about market conditions.
• - Collects and documents key threats and opportunities that may arise in both macro and micro business environments.
• - Post-secondary education along with relevant experience in Business Administration.
• - Customer Service experience and/or training is advantageous, with a minimum of 10 years of Administrative Experience.
• - **Bilingual in English and French (both spoken and written) is required.**
• - Experience in Key Account Management within the Utility Industry is preferred.
• - Familiarity with working alongside agents is beneficial.
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• - Background in contract and/or project management is desirable.
• - Experience using an ERP or MRP system is a plus.
• - Experience in transformer manufacturing is an asset.
