This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Supervise all customer sales and channel operations within the assigned geographical territory.
• Attain revenue growth and profitability targets for the organization.
• Create and execute strategic initiatives to enhance market coverage for Armstrong solutions in the commercial HVAC, commercial plumbing, and service sectors.
• Build and sustain strong relationships within our representative network and key stakeholders, including consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners.
• Implement the sales process to achieve and surpass revenue goals within the designated region.
• Leverage CRM software to monitor sales activities, manage leads, and produce reports for management review.
• Foster and maintain robust relationships with representatives, consulting engineers, contractors, and end users.
• Actively collaborate with representatives to enhance product awareness and boost market penetration.
• Work alongside consulting engineers to offer technical expertise and guidance on product selection and application.
• Assist contractors throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Organize regular meetings and site visits to strengthen relationships and promptly address any concerns or inquiries.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to guide strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, and leadership.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, LEED/A/P certification, or membership in trade organizations is a plus.
• Expertise in HVAC chilled water plant and system applications.
• A strong desire to learn and keep up with innovations and technologies in the industry.
• Creative problem-solving and conflict management capabilities.
• Ability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear and well-considered recommendations.
• Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented approach and a proactive mindset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, focusing on results.
• Capacity to communicate openly and authentically in all circumstances.
• Willingness to travel domestically (40-50%) and possess a valid passport.
• Must fit well with the high-performance culture of the US team.
