Regional Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a strategic sales plan for the territory that generates account opportunities through cold calling, lead follow-up, sales process management, account acquisition, and year-over-year business growth.

• Manage a portfolio of provider accounts with complete responsibility for retention, renewal, and revenue growth.

• Design and execute growth strategies tailored to specific accounts that align with client objectives and AMC Health’s capabilities.

• Recognize and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and new program adoption opportunities.

• Effectively oversee Sales Directors-RHT to meet their territory goals and objectives.

• Act as the primary executive-level relationship manager for assigned accounts.

• Establish trusted partnerships with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.

• Facilitate quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning meetings.

• Collaborate with state health agencies.

• Direct and manage the necessary elements of a successful program in cooperation with other providers, potential partners, and state HHS agencies.

• Spearhead growth strategy, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations in conjunction with sales leadership and customer satisfaction teams.

• Actively oversee contract timelines, risk management, and expansion opportunities.

• Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility in CRM (HubSpot).

• Convert clinical and operational results into persuasive, data-driven value narratives that support the RHT initiative.

• Collaborate with Clinical and Analytics teams to showcase ROI, patient outcomes, and program effectiveness.

• Position AMC Health as a strategic growth partner and trusted advisor rather than just a vendor.

• Work together with Sales, Clinical, Product, Operations, and Finance to provide seamless client experiences.

• Serve as a senior escalation point to guarantee prompt and effective issue resolution.

• Deliver customer-specific voice-of-customer insights to guide product development and go-to-market strategies.

• Work closely with an RFP team to generate account-specific proposals, leveraging local knowledge and relationships for successful bid responses.

• Oversee additional Sales Directors RHT through employee evaluations, training, regular reviews, and opportunities for professional development.

• Keep up-to-date with trends in Rural Health Transformation, RPM, digital health, value-based care, and virtual care.

• Utilize market insights to discover new growth opportunities and enhance client positioning.

• Attend company-approved industry meetings, regional events, and conventions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Field Sales and comprehensive territory management.

• Proven expertise in strategic account development and execution.

• Experience with a high-volume sales model and sales cycle.

• Background in Client Success / Account Management.

• Experience in Provider Growth / Healthcare Partnerships.

• People management experience, with at least 3 years in this role.

• Demonstrated success in managing and expanding provider relationships.

• Strong background in complex sales of medical equipment and services, preferably including rural communities.

• Experience in developing growth strategies, expansions, and conducting contract negotiations.

• Familiarity with navigating complex healthcare organizations.

• Knowledge of CMS billing and CPT codes for chronic care/RPM.

• Proficiency in digital media networking.

• In-depth understanding of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), digital health, or virtual care.

• Knowledge of value-based care models and healthcare economics.

• Proven ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed environment.

• Strong executive presence, communication, and storytelling abilities.

• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.
