This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Implement the Regional Sales Strategy: Utilize your expertise in the solar sector to carry out impactful sales strategies, enhancing volume and fostering profitable growth throughout the region.
• Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Act as the primary liaison for distributors, installers, and battery partners in the area to stimulate growth and ensure alignment.
• Provide Engaging Presentations: Create and deliver innovative, results-driven sales and training presentations to key stakeholders.
• Articulate Value Proposition: Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements to effectively communicate the value proposition of ConnectDER products and maintain consistent messaging among all stakeholders.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Marketing teams to deliver product demonstrations, provide training, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
• Analyze and Predict Trends: Observe ongoing business trends to accurately predict sales volumes and offer insights on necessary product or process modifications.
• 3-5 years of experience in the solar market, ideally in Channel sales.
• Technical knowledge of the electrical grid and solar PV installation.
• In-depth understanding of the Northeast solar and clean energy market.
• Demonstrated experience in developing sales plans and executing strategies that yield results and profitability.
• Proficient in conveying ideas and concepts to influence business partners.
• Strong skills in business acumen, financial understanding, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in training and presenting materials to diverse audience sizes.
