This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Meet the sales targets established by the Area Sales Director (ASD), both autonomously and via distribution networks.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the adoption of Kuros Biosciences' premier bone graft solutions among surgeons and distributors.
• Build and sustain enduring relationships with surgeons and distributors.
• Serve as a consultative expert on bone biology for surgeons and distributors in the region.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain professional connections with the Value Analysis/Purchasing Committees of hospitals, Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs), and other pertinent medical institutions to engage in their RFP processes.
• Assist the ASD in recruiting and managing independent distributors.
• Provide training and support to distributors, including participating in field sales visits.
• Sustain and support existing business across the region, including attending surgical procedures to advise on the proper use of Kuros products.
• Formulate and execute sales plans to achieve designated targets.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders, including orthopedic and neurosurgeons in the area.
• Discover opportunities that enhance product performance and contribute to revenue growth.
• Build a robust, sustainable pipeline using the company’s CRM and forecasting tools.
• Follow up on marketing initiatives and provide feedback regarding market campaigns and messaging.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competition, product acceptance, and new product launches.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
• A clinical background and experience are highly preferred.
• Demonstrable sales achievements (brag book) in sales-related specializations (pharmaceuticals or medical devices).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant sales specialization (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and/or other biosciences).
• Medical or hospital credentials are preferred.
• Experience in spine and biologics is preferred.
• Familiarity with the hospital RFP process and VAC pricing experience is essential.
• Experience in the operating room and relevant product training is required.
• Prior experience with CRM programs is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and appropriate insurance coverage is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the territory.
• Ability to articulate and manage a complex sales cycle is essential.
