This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Identify, qualify, and secure high-value accounts that align with Millwood’s strategic growth strategy, focusing on their annual packaging and crating expenditures.
• Enhance market position by cultivating business relationships and finalizing long-term agreements.
• Recognize trends through thorough industry research and participation in events.
• Suggest potential partnerships by reaching out to prospective collaborators.
• Lead negotiations and finalize impactful deals by drafting contracts and coordinating them with operational teams.
• Conduct industry research to deliver effective sales solutions.
• Promote products and services to potential clients.
• Utilize broker partnerships to increase Millwood’s visibility in underrepresented markets.
• Develop long-term contracts that cultivate sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships.
• Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to create customized packaging and crating solutions.
• Provide local support for National Account customer locations within the designated territory.
• Record all activities in Salesforce.
• Create competitive pricing models that align with market standards while ensuring margin integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Over 5 years of experience in an outside sales role.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the territory 3-5 days a week.
• Availability for overnight travel within your territory and for corporate meetings, events, or as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Outlook.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel by car and plane.
• Capability to rent transportation when necessary.
