📋 Description

• The Regional Sales Leader is a key business figure responsible for building, developing, and leading growth in an assigned regional market, program dealer, general sales, and car dealer Hubbers by executing strategic plans to meet volume, margin, and budget objectives across designated brands and channels.

• In a refined operating model, the Regional Sales Leader (RSL) acts as a co-leader of the region alongside the Regional Operations Leader (ROL), sharing joint responsibility for the complete regional P&L, which includes both sales revenue performance and optimized operational results.

• Although the RSL’s primary focus is on driving sales growth and managing customer relationships, they are also deeply invested in the operational health of the region’s TireHub Logistics Centers (TLCs), working with the ROL to make decisions that enhance overall regional performance.

• This shared responsibility fosters individual functional excellence and collective regional business results.

• Achieving success in this role demands a robust sales background, sound judgment, and the capability to lead through influence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• This position reports to the Divisional Director of Sales.

• Partners with the Regional Operations Leader as a co-equal regional business owner, sharing responsibility for the complete regional market P&L, encompassing both TLC operational performance and sales revenue results.

• Collaborates with the Regional Operations Leader on route optimization, inventory quality and improvement, resource allocation, customer satisfaction, customer escalation resolution, and other market-level decisions that significantly affect both operational and sales outcomes to drive regional success.

• Maintains a comprehensive understanding of regional operations dynamics, including inventory control, routing, and cost drivers, to make informed decisions that support the overall health of the regional market P&L.

• Participates in joint regional market business reviews with the Regional Operations Leader to evaluate regional market P&L performance, align on regional market priorities, and formulate shared responses to business challenges and opportunities.

• Contributes to joint regional market planning cycles, which include annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiative development, in coordination with the Regional Operations Leader and respective Divisional Directors.

• Collaborates with cross-functional TireHub teams (Supply Chain/Inventory, Pricing, HR, and Customer Service Leadership) to generate insights that drive actions towards achieving Regional Market targets and informing future initiatives.

• Owns and delivers against assigned regional sales targets, including revenue, volume, and profitability, with full accountability for performance against the plan.

• Builds, leads, motivates, and develops a geographically dispersed sales team to meet sales and revenue targets within the designated region.

• Identifies, acquires, and develops new, large program dealer and car dealer customers.

• Provides collaborative cross-channel customer service support to national, transfer, and specialty accounts.

• Works with Sales and Marketing leadership to create market improvement strategies and initiatives.

• Collaborates and leverages networks and relationships with shareholders and supplier contacts to build and enhance local dealership relationships and foster preference for TireHub brands.

• Reports to and collaborates with the Divisional Director of Sales to achieve optimal business results and KPI outcomes.

• Utilizes reporting and data to uncover territory insights and opportunities.

• Contributes to the development and ongoing use of the Customer Success scorecard, ensuring the region tracks and enhances key metrics that are most important to customers.

• Utilizes appropriate tools for customer engagement, development, and reporting.

• Ensures personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Engages in ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual, or computer-based learning modules as assigned.

• Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership, as requested.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

• 10+ years of progressively responsible sales experience, including field and B2B sales and establishing/sustaining key customer relationships.

• 5+ years of direct management experience with large and geographically dispersed sales teams, or 5+ years of leading teams through influence.

• A minimum of 2+ years of sales experience in the Tire Industry/Wholesale Distribution is preferred.

• Experience in a highly matrixed environment, or in an environment requiring close collaboration with operations and marketing functions is required.

• Proven history of effective communication with all levels of management.

• Experience leading a business unit, geography, or P&L alongside a peer leader from a different functional discipline (e.g., operations, supply chain, or finance) is preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to drive outcomes and influence decisions across functional boundaries without direct authority.

• Familiarity with logistics or distribution operations—including cost structures, service-level management, and inventory dynamics—as they relate to commercial performance is preferred.

• Knowledge of Tire manufacturer & Car Dealer Programs.

• Understanding of supply chain processes.

• Acquainted with tire manufacturer warranty, programs, and tire products.

• Familiarity with customer relationship management tools.

• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., Prophet 21 / P21).

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).

• Ability to assess the skills and weaknesses of individuals and coach/develop them accordingly.

• Business and financial acumen related to price/volume tradeoffs.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as presentation abilities.

• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for market share growth.

• A valid Driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience is required (3 years preferred; does not include time on learner’s permits).
