
Regional Sales Lead – Upper South

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Territory Managers through regular in-field engagements (~60% travel), continuous feedback, role-plays, and practical sales training to ensure effective execution and skill enhancement.
• Take ownership of regional revenue outcomes by driving consistent activity, supporting both new sales and account growth, and ensuring Territory Managers achieve input and output objectives.
• Maintain exemplary Salesforce hygiene and forecasting by reviewing pipelines weekly, ensuring data accuracy, and providing support for deal structuring, escalations, and critical opportunities.
• Act as the regional spokesperson, relaying customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges to the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer teams, and broader leadership.
• Adapt national strategy into regional execution plans, facilitate lightweight team rhythms (1:1s, check-ins), and closely collaborate with U.S. commercial leadership on performance and priorities.
• Recruit and cultivate high-performing talent, aiding in the rapid expansion of Territory Manager teams as Halter grows swiftly across the U.S.
• Strong Frontline Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, preferably in fast-paced or high-growth environments, with a history of coaching reps to enhance performance consistently.
• Hands-On, Field-First Mindset: Comfortable spending significant time on the road—participating in customer visits, demonstrating best practices, and remaining closely connected to real-world customer challenges.
• Expertise in Sales Process & Methodology: Skilled in modern sales techniques (e.g., consultative/challenger sales models, role-plays, discovery methods) and the ability to coach Territory Managers to excel in these areas.
• Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting Discipline: Strong operational rigor in maintaining CRM hygiene, managing pipelines, tracking input metrics, and ensuring forecasting accuracy—especially crucial in a hardware + software context.
