This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Achieve the established market access and sales goals for ophthalmology brands within specific accounts and regions.
• Take ownership, develop, and execute local business strategies aligned with brand objectives and sales ambitions.
• Recognize opportunities for each brand within every account and formulate strategic account plans.
• Serve as the main contact for payer accounts and essential customer groups.
• Cultivate robust relationships with ophthalmology stakeholders to enhance formulary inclusion and product uptake.
• Provide patient-focused solutions that enhance ophthalmic care pathways.
• Analyze NHS ophthalmology datasets and business intelligence to pinpoint performance deficiencies.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of key accounts, including revenue streams and commission processes.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the ophthalmology field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• In-depth understanding of NHS systems, funding mechanisms, and commissioning practices.
• Demonstrated success in sales performance, key account management, and payer engagement.
• Proven experience in influencing policy and practices within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, complemented by knowledge of pharmacoeconomics.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including the development of KOLs.
• Experience with product launches and functioning within matrix organizations.
• Proficient in IT and experienced with CRM systems.
• Strong ability for cross-functional collaboration and influential communication.
• Commercially savvy and responsible, with a thorough understanding of the NHS, strategic leadership skills, and a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Competitive Salary: A market-aligned base salary starting from £54,405 – £74,807 depending on experience and location.
