This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
β’ Lead, mentor, and cultivate Territory Managers through regular in-field engagement (~60% travel), continuous feedback, role-playing, and hands-on sales training to ensure effective execution and skill enhancement.
β’ Take ownership of regional revenue outcomes by promoting steady activity, facilitating both new sales and account growth, and ensuring Territory Managers achieve their input and output objectives.
β’ Maintain exemplary Salesforce practices and forecasting, reviewing pipelines on a weekly basis, ensuring data accuracy, and providing support on deal structure, escalations, and critical opportunities.
β’ Act as the regional representative - communicating customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges to Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer teams, and senior leadership.
β’ Adapt national strategy into regional execution plans, conduct streamlined team interactions (1:1s, check-ins), and closely align with U.S. commercial leadership on performance and priorities.
β’ Recruit and nurture top-tier talent, aiding in the expansion of Territory Manager teams as Halter experiences rapid growth across the U.S.
β’ Strong Frontline Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, preferably in high-growth or fast-paced environments, with a history of coaching reps to consistently enhance their performance.
β’ Hands-On, Field-First Mindset: Willingness to spend the majority of your time traveling - participating in customer visits, demonstrating best practices, and staying closely connected to real-world customer challenges.
β’ Expertise in Sales Process & Methodology: Skilled in contemporary sales practices (e.g., consultative/challenger sales models, role-plays, discovery techniques) with the ability to coach Territory Managers to excel in these areas.
β’ Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting Discipline: Strong operational discipline in CRM management, pipeline oversight, input metrics, and forecasting accuracy - particularly vital in a hardware and software context.
β’ Direct, Supportive People Leadership: A leadership approach grounded in clarity, accountability, empathy, and high support - someone who genuinely cares, sets ambitious expectations, and fosters a strong team culture.
