
Regional Sales Lead – Key Account Manager, DACH

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Regional strategy: You will create and oversee the growth strategy for the German-speaking region in alignment with Cuculus’s global vision.
• Strategic account management: You will lead and nurture key accounts with an emphasis on long-term value, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth.
• Senior stakeholder management: You will establish trusted, long-term relationships with executives and digital transformation leaders within the utilities sector.
• Complex sales cycles: You will manage consultative sales processes from the initial strategic phase through to contract signing.
• Transformation & future topics: You will guide strategic discussions on the digitization of networks and data platforms, as well as organizational, process, and operating models, including the application of AI, automation, and advanced analytics in the utilities sector.
• Internal collaboration: You will collaborate closely with product management, solution architecture, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between customer strategies and the Cuculus technology roadmap.
• Market presence & thought leadership: You will position Cuculus as a credible strategic partner during customer meetings and at relevant industry events (e.g., E‑World).
• Sales expertise: A minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in B2B key account management, enterprise sales, or a similar strategic commercial role.
• Tech focus: Proven experience in selling software, platform, or IoT solutions.
• Commercial impact: A track record of demonstrable commercial successes and comfort in C-level discussions.
• Communication skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both German and English.
• Market insights: Familiarity with the utilities sector, energy market, or critical infrastructure, preferably within the German-speaking region.
• Hybrid work: If you reside near one of our offices, we encourage regular office presence (2–3 days/week in Erfurt, Leipzig, or Ilmenau).
