
Regional Sales Lead – Desert Southwest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Territory Managers through regular in-field engagement (~60% travel), continuous feedback, role-playing exercises, and practical sales training to ensure effective execution and skill enhancement.
• Take ownership of regional revenue performance by fostering consistent activities, supporting both new sales initiatives and account growth, and ensuring Territory Managers achieve their input and output objectives.
• Maintain exemplary Salesforce hygiene and forecasting practices, reviewing pipelines on a weekly basis, ensuring data accuracy, and acting as a resource for deal structuring, escalations, and critical opportunities.
• Act as the regional representative, communicating customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges to Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer teams, and wider leadership.
• Adapt national strategy into actionable regional plans, facilitate lightweight team rhythms (1:1 meetings, check-ins), and closely align with U.S. commercial leadership on performance metrics and priorities.
• Recruit and cultivate high-performing talent, assisting in the expansion of Territory Manager teams as Halter experiences rapid growth across the United States.
• Strong Frontline Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, particularly in high-growth or fast-paced environments, with a history of coaching representatives to consistently enhance their performance.
• Hands-On, Field-First Mindset: Comfortable spending a significant portion of your time traveling - participating in customer visits, demonstrating best practices, and remaining closely connected to genuine customer challenges.
• Expertise in Sales Process & Methodology: Mastery of contemporary sales practices (e.g., consultative/challenger sales models, role-playing, discovery techniques) and the capability to train Territory Managers in these methodologies.
• Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting Discipline: A strong operational focus on CRM hygiene, pipeline management, input metrics, and forecasting precision - particularly critical in a hardware and software context.
