This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Territory Managers through regular in-field engagement (approximately 60% travel), continuous feedback, role-playing, and practical sales training to ensure effective execution and skill enhancement.
• Take ownership of regional revenue performance by driving consistent activities, supporting new sales and account growth, and ensuring Territory Managers achieve both input and output targets.
• Maintain exemplary Salesforce hygiene and forecasting by reviewing pipelines weekly, ensuring data accuracy, and providing support for deal structure, escalations, and critical opportunities.
• Act as the regional representative, conveying customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges to the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer teams, and wider leadership.
• Translate national strategy into regional execution plans, facilitate light team rhythms (1:1 meetings, check-ins), and work closely with U.S. commercial leadership on performance and priorities.
• Recruit and cultivate high-performing talent, assisting in the scaling of Territory Manager teams as Halter experiences rapid growth across the U.S.
• Strong Frontline Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, particularly in high-growth or high-velocity settings, with a history of coaching reps to enhance performance consistently.
• Hands-On, Field-First Mindset: Comfortable spending most of your time traveling—participating in customer visits, demonstrating best practices, and remaining closely connected to real-world customer challenges.
• Expertise in Sales Process & Methodology: Skilled in contemporary sales practices (e.g., consultative/challenger sales models, role-playing, discovery techniques) with the ability to coach Territory Managers to excel in these areas.
• Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting Discipline: Strong operational discipline regarding CRM hygiene, pipeline management, input metrics, and forecasting accuracy—crucial in a hardware and software environment.
