This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Achieve and surpass the annual sales targets set in January for the upcoming calendar year.
• Leverage your strong relationship-building and face-to-face sales abilities to cultivate connections with key contacts within organizations in a consultative capacity.
• Service current accounts, secure orders, and strategically plan daily work schedules to engage with existing or potential sales opportunities.
• Direct sales efforts by analyzing current and prospective healthcare clients.
• Tailor the content of sales presentations by researching the client's profile and healthcare context. Present products and company information to various levels within the client’s organization.
• Engage in contract development, negotiation, and ensure delivery to clients for signature and execution.
• Keep management updated by providing activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory assessments.
• Maintain regular communication with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Strive for maximum utilization of contracted services to 100%, making it challenging for clients to switch to competitors; ensure expected return on investment and value recognition.
• Support the sales team by generating leads for additional product sales to increase client revenue.
• Prepare and present business reviews to clients, discussing variable parameters of contracted services, results achieved (including technical requirements), and alignment with the client's business needs.
• Comprehend the business applications of all products and requests.
• Monitor and evaluate growth, return on investment, and competitive benchmarking within the assigned client base.
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with multiple individuals within the client’s organization, including Operations, Finance, Support, Compliance, Marketing, Procurement, and C-Suite personnel.
• Coordinate with appropriate SSI and client staff to address issues and effectively manage escalations.
• Ensure invoices are paid according to contractual terms, assist in the renewal of existing business contracts, recommend additional products & services, and generate cross-company leads for ongoing revenue growth.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing is preferred, along with 3 years of experience in a healthcare, technology, business, or marketing-related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering sales presentations is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, is essential.
• A thorough understanding of SSI products is necessary.
• Ability to interact courteously and effectively with colleagues in a team environment and establish relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization is required.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional organizational and presentation skills are needed.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English is mandatory.
• Capability to handle challenging individuals and situations is essential.
• Ability to make independent judgment decisions without supervision is required.
• Must have clear vision with or without corrective lenses and the ability to hear clearly with or without aids.
• Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and wrists repetitively with a computer keyboard and other office equipment on a regular basis is necessary.
• Must be able to drive an automobile and travel by car and airplane regularly.
