This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Evaluate customer project specifications
• Match customer requirements with suitable Fortinet solutions
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to explore sales opportunities
• Offer expert technical guidance in network and security during pre-sales interactions
• Foster collaboration across teams
• Engage in ongoing self-development and learning to sustain technical expertise in relevant technologies
• Guarantee continuous customer success, support, and growth
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant pre/post-sales experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• OR
• Over 5 years of experience in a comparable field
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Strong proficiency in:
• - Cybersecurity fundamentals, encompassing common issues, threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities
• - Principles of cyber threat management and incident response
• - Networking fundamentals, including the OSI model and details of common network protocols
• - Critical thinking skills
• - Professional communication and presentation abilities
• General knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
• - Network operations
• - Breach detection and prevention
• - Security operations
• - DevOps
• - Wired and wireless access
• - Identity and access management
• - Public and private cloud
• - Web content and security acceleration
