Regional Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Proficient in the endpoint or network security domain, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, and more.

• Solid knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

• Capable of clearly communicating intricate security issues to various audiences.

• Self-motivated individual with the capability to work autonomously.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer serves as the technical link between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse external audiences, including C-level executives.

• Extensive network within the information security industry and strong references.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.

• Background in sales engineering or over 5 years of pertinent work experience.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Proficiency in both English and German.

• Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis (Bonus).

• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash (Bonus).

• Knowledge of virtualization/VDI technologies (Bonus).

• Experience with large-scale cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. (Bonus).

• Understanding of the OSI model (Bonus).

• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS (Bonus).
