This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Engaging in strategic planning discussions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Conveying corporate strategies to employees in the German region.
• Overseeing activities related to sales pipeline development, forecasting, and customer relationship management and satisfaction.
• Setting short-term and long-term objectives, metrics, and quotas aligned with corporate and regional goals.
• Identifying and enabling necessary resources to support the German sales strategy.
• Recognizing and assessing significant sales opportunities at the management level within the German region.
• Serving as a coach, mentor, and educator to all Regional Sales Managers in the German area.
• Selecting, developing, and evaluating staff to ensure sales targets are achieved.
• Keeping senior leadership apprised of critical issues and changes that may affect anticipated business outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and connections within the German New Business market, particularly in the tech sector.
• Required experience in a first-line sales leadership role and in a people management position.
• Strong skills in building relationships and negotiating at the executive level.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with peers across various functions, including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Customer Support, and Product Development.
• Experience selling to Public Sector Accounts in Germany.
• A successful track record as a Regional Sales Director, consistently surpassing assigned sales quotas in the German region.
• Familiarity with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales methodologies.
• An ability to understand how technology products and solutions can address business challenges.
• A solid grasp of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the market is a plus.
• Proven experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.
• A demonstrated capability to manage professional-level employees.
• Ability to create a positive work atmosphere and mentality.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
