• Assist in the sales and development of both current and new business opportunities within an established client base.
• Collaborate effectively with National Strategic Partner account managers, field sellers, team managers, and internal sellers to achieve or surpass sales revenue objectives.
• Enhance the share of existing customers by introducing innovative telecommunications, data center, cloud, and managed services solutions.
• Work closely with the current sales team to formulate a transition strategy aimed at retaining and expanding recently acquired clients.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly contract renewals related to revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendor partners.
• Develop a structured framework and regular schedule with the sales and overlay teams to conduct systematic quarterly business reviews with clients.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of all telecommunications, data center, cloud, and managed service solutions within the Avant portfolio, demonstrating an understanding of the key differences among solutions and the ability to communicate these distinctions based on client needs and sales opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional management of existing clients and proactive business development initiatives to maximize market coverage, exceed sales targets, and minimize client attrition.
• Assist in creating client-focused business development activities, generate demand, and follow up on business development efforts.
• Organize prospect meetings, teleconferences, and communications.
• Participate in client seminars and workshops.
• Develop and present polished sales proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Regularly engage with VAR sales leadership (manager, Director, and VP) to provide updates on open opportunities, upcoming renewals, and billed revenue.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in Telecom, Cloud, Data Center, and Managed Services.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Technologically proficient; comfortable using Word, Excel, PPT, and database applications for computer use and data entry.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including consulting, organizational, oral, and written communication skills necessary for presenting proposals for new services based on client requirements.
• In-depth understanding of “as-a-service” solutions and business models.
• Proven ability to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Effective in working with customers, vendors, and management.
• Capable of managing and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Ability to support colleagues and lead projects as needed.
