This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Develop critical business initiatives with measurable objectives and milestones that align with the overall strategy of the region and the company.
• Conduct visits to new dealers or make cold calls, while also handling inbound inquiries from dealerships to cultivate relationships and secure business opportunities.
• Recruit and mentor new Area Sales Managers.
• Familiarize new and acquired businesses with company procedures and relevant personnel for associated services.
• Set targets for Area Sales Managers; offer coaching and support to help them achieve these targets, and ensure accountability for results.
• Clearly communicate expectations and hold Area Sales Managers responsible for reaching financial goals and performance metrics, all while sustaining a positive morale.
• Execute similar functions with GLS Agency partners in terms of coaching, servicing, and support.
• Keep electronic records and files organized.
• Encourage a collaborative culture that promotes the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with colleagues and management members.
• Engage in special projects as necessary.
• Undertake additional tasks as required by the company's needs or as directed by management.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least three (3) years of experience in auto finance, ideally in sub-prime auto financing, is preferred.
• Five (5) years of sales experience within the auto industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with the assigned territory market and existing customer relationships is preferred.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to take initiative.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills with a working knowledge of the internet and standard business applications, such as Microsoft Office; capable of quickly learning new software as necessary.
• Proven ability to inspire and lead a team.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
