This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
• Formulate regional strategic initiatives aimed at achieving revenue, profitability, and market penetration objectives, ensuring synergy with the sales team.
• Propel regional performance by aligning and executing essential sales and service strategies and tactics.
• Partner with the field team to devise strategies that enhance patient referrals, addressing barriers that hinder the national growth and adoption of Acute therapy.
• Deliver continuous coaching and feedback to field sales and support personnel through field visits, observations, and results measurement.
• Supervise training strategies and market development plans for the region, ensuring the sales and service teams possess the necessary skills and tools to promote therapy adoption and achieve revenue targets.
• Direct effective talent management strategies within the region, including the execution of high-quality talent acquisition and development practices.
• Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and industry influencers.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of heart failure technology within a competitive landscape.
• Efficiently manage and oversee the P&L for the region in alignment with finance.
• Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with ABT and competitive clients.
• Ensure the quality policy/system is planned, comprehended, implemented, and maintained, guaranteeing departmental compliance.
• Engage with clients and potential clients regarding the company’s products, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Gather and analyze information regarding new and existing products while monitoring competitor sales, pricing, and offerings.
• Potentially participate in trade shows that showcase new products and technologies, as well as conferences to network with other sales representatives and clients about new product advancements.
• Stay updated on developments in relevant fields of expertise.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of proven sales leadership experience, preferably in the medical device sector
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and accustomed to meeting tight deadlines
• Proficient in personal computer applications, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Skill in leveraging and/or engaging others to achieve project goals
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying messages at various organizational levels
• Experience with direct quota attainment and performance metrics
• Flexible schedule for case coverage and client meetings, including after hours and weekends
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional requirements exceeding that limit
• Requires clear vision and good depth perception
• Preference will be given to candidates who can think strategically while executing tactically.
• Demonstrated skills in market development.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners and clients.
• Capacity to inspire and maintain high performance within a clinical sales and therapy development organization.
• Documented history of exceptional sales achievements over an extended duration.
