This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Meeting or surpassing the assigned quarterly and annual quotas within designated territory.
• Consistently achieving set key performance metrics that will be published periodically.
• Prospecting within the territory to create opportunities for Nextech to address prospects’ requirements.
• Traveling overnight as necessary to conduct thorough sales cycles within the assigned territory.
• Utilizing Practice and Site Surveys to assess prospective clients’ software and system needs.
• Showcasing the complete capabilities of Nextech software to potential clients.
• Preparing and delivering pricing proposals to prospective clients.
• Identifying and presenting the anticipated return on investment for clients utilizing the Nextech solution.
• Negotiating specific contract terms with prospective clients in accordance with Nextech guidelines; seeking approval from the Vice President of Sales and/or Chief Revenue Officer for any terms that deviate from Nextech’s standard terms.
• Completing all necessary documentation to facilitate the sale, including implementation, support, accounting, and account management.
• Maintaining communication with clients and providing support to other Nextech employees throughout the implementation phase, initial “go-live” stage, and ongoing client relationship management.
• Using Salesforce.com to report on lead status, track action items for each sales campaign, and accurately forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assisting Sales Vice Presidents in mentoring new and existing RSMs in various job functions.
• Conducting periodic training sessions for other RSMs on different aspects of the sales process.
• Mentoring RSMs and Associate Sales Representatives while in the field.
• Taking charge of special projects assigned by the Sales Vice Presidents to enhance the sales function.
• Over 10 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally focused on physician practices, healthcare organizations, or private equity-backed healthcare groups.
• Experience selling to or working within Ophthalmology practices.
• At least 2 years of transactional selling experience.
• Proven accountability and the ability to independently manage sales cycles; managerial experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to gain access to the executive level of practice leadership (Medical Director/Chief Physician or Board level).
• Exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen demonstrated through previous experience.
