This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead all planning and execution activities for regional launches to ensure successful market entry and ongoing product adoption.
• Convert national brand strategy into implementable regional business plans and execution priorities for the field.
• Direct the team to meet or surpass sales objectives, market share goals, and key performance indicators during launch and thereafter.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to adapt strategies in real time.
• Promote accountability for performance through data-informed decision-making and disciplined execution.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing territory managers throughout the region.
• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of approximately 8–12 territory managers.
• Establish and uphold a high level of expertise in disease states, clinical knowledge, and product information.
• Assess the performance of territory managers and provide coaching for skill enhancement and career development through regular field interactions.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and continual improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with territory managers on significant customer engagements, access challenges, and the formulation of account strategies.
• Support pull-through efforts with IDNs, organized customers, and priority accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards in all regional activities.
• Effectively manage regional budgets and resources.
• Maintain precise forecasting, CRM usage, and reporting discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a district or regional manager capacity.
• Proven track record of leading specialty sales teams and consistently exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Previous launch experience is required; experience with first-launch or startup biotech is highly desirable.
• Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty markets is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in attracting and developing top talent.
• Strong skills in business planning, analysis, and coaching.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
